1)You must thank the person who passed it on to you (Done)
2)Copy Award to your Blog (Done)

I love this pic of my oldest daughter and me when she was only 1 year old.  Her and I went to a place called Glamour Shots and had a picture session where I was all made up to look like a model/movie star.   I know I will never look like this again...LOL Just love how they retouched this pic, no imperfections!!When my husband saw it he didn't think it looked like me..we gave it to him framed for Valentines Day that year 2006..And here it is...

5) Pass this Award onto 5 others
This is when it becomes complicated.  As I follow many blogs and all of them are so creative one way or another I have picked these blogs, I have actually broken the rules and will pass this award to the following 6 bloggers:

Throwback Thursday Challenge 81- A Princess Sticky-Notes Holder

Hello and Welcome to another one of my projects.
This week I decided to enter my project into My Creative Time's Throwback Thursday Challenge.  This week is a Princess theme.  Emma used the Tinkerbell cart. for her creation, but since I don't own that cart I decided to use the  Once Upon a Princess cart.  This is how I made it...
Princess Sticky Notes Holder
Cart Once Upon a Princess Doll on page 24 cut at 2.8 inches
Stamped the face with the 3/8" Peachy Keen Princess Face Assortment stamps
A 3X3 Sticky Notes Pad
For the cover I used thick white card-stock.
The length is 8 1/2 X 3 1/2
Scored at 3 1/8, 3 5/8, 6 3/4, 7 2/8
Covered the front sides and back with glittered paper from Nana's Nursery Girl paper pad.
The dimensions for the squares are 2 -2 3/4 X 3 for the side 1/2"
Quilled flowers are:
13- 3" Marquise 6 in yellow and 3 in light blue 4 green for the leaves
Stem is 1- 1/2" green, 2- 1" green
for the dress and crown I used gems from Martha Stewart- 2 blue, 1 yellow
and to close the pad I used magnets.  Cannot remember who sells them but they come in a package of 12 with positive and negative magnets.

Throwback Thursday Challenge! Brag Book for Isabella

Hello Everyone and Welcome to another one of my projects
This Little Album was created for My Creative Time's Throwback Thursday Challenge.  The Cart to used this week was Paisley and the theme is Back to School.  I made  this little brag book for my 5 year old that will start Kindergarten in September, and I wanted her to have pictures of me and my husband and her two siblings just in case she misses us and feels sad.  I know how hard that can be for children.  I work with them and one of the Therapist gave this idea to one of the mommies in my program and I thought it was a good one.  I really worked for that particular child and I hope it will work for my Isabella. The inside is not finished yet I'm still thinking what to write and how to embellish it and I still want to add her name to the front.
How I made it:

Cricut Cart: Paisley
Cut: Card on Page 65 using fit to length for 11inches
Owl on page 42 cut at 4inches
Quilled yellow flower with gem
I put pictures on the inside of the card

Very simple, I hope you enjoy it and stay tuned for another one of my projects.

Peachy Keen Challenge-Happy Teddy Bear

Hello Tuesday!
It's been a while since I've posted things have been a bit crazy around my end.  Today I would like to show you the card I made for the Peachy Keen challenge.  It was a sketch you can check it out HERE.  The card is a 5X6 made from Stampin Up cardstock.  The scallop border was made with the SU scallop trim punch and the stamp sentiment is also from Stampin UP.  The teddy bear is from the Die Line from Peachy Keen, isn't he adorable!   Quilling paper from Lake City Crafts and design paper is from the Marcella K Jungle paper Pad.
Hope you enjoy it and let me know what you think!

Quilled Hugs Everyone! See you next time.

Storing My Peachy Keen Stamps

HAPPY TUESDAY!
I would like to apologize for not posting for about a week but most of you might know thru my Facebook page that my father suffered a second stroke last monday.  Thank God he is stable but still in the hospital.  We have notice some short term memory loss so far, but the doctors think that this could get better in time.  Thank you to all of you who had him in your prayers!
So today I would like to share with you a storage idea for my Peachy Keen Stamps.  I found this 5X8 three ring binder at Staples. They had them in several colors but I liked this orange one.  The makers of this cute little binder is Avery. They also sell the insert pages.  The stamps fit perfectly in the insert pages.  These mini binders go for $6.99 and the insert pages where $4.99 for a pack of 15.  All I need to do now is embellish my little binder.  I think that it would look nice with Vinyl what do you think?
Enjoy and stay tuned for another project!
I need to be Embellished!!:)
Quilled Hugs,
Linda K.
