Simple Quilling Video Tutorial!

Hello Everyone!  As promised here is a video showing some simple quilling that you can use to embellish your projects. My apologies for not editing the video but I am still in the process of learning how to.  Right in the middle of the video you will hear my phone ring and then my husband leaving me a message that him and my daughter are on their way home!!!!LOL...I hope this doesn't disturb your learning...hahaha...Also since English is my second language I might repeat myself several times and or sound annoying with my tone...lol  I need to improve that area! Well I hope you enjoy it and comments and critique is accepted!

Here are some pictures of the finished project..

Quilly Hugs to all and see you next time!

Thank You Card

Happy Wednesday Everyone!  Today's project is a Thank You card I made for one of my coworkers.  She wanted a space to put a key ring to give as a thank you to someone.  I used the sweet treat cups from Stampin Up, paper is from the Nana's Baby Girl Stack, I punched the hole for the treat cup with the 1 3/4 Stampin Up circle punch.  The sentiment is also from Stampin Up.  I quilled a flower using purple, pink and green 1/8" strips of Quilled Creations quilling paper.  For the back of the treat cup I created  a pocket with a pull out tab this way the cup can be filled with treats or other goodies.  I hope you enjoy it and thank you for taking the time to stop by today!

Quilly Hugs and until next time!

Baby Theme Quilling

Happy Monday!
I have not had time to actually make a new project lately.  I  have been finishing some custom orders but today I would like to show you a 6X6 Quilling piece I made using wider strips of quilling paper.   I actually posted this project on my FB Fan page, but if you missed it here it is. The width of this paper is 1/4, if you are a beginner quiller this paper is the ideal to begin rolling if you feel intimidated by the narrower 1/8 strips.  Using the basic rolls such as the teardrop and marquise this is what I came up with.  The sentiment is from Stampin Up and the cardstock from Lasting Impressions.  I framed it in a Jolee's by you 6X6 shadowbox frame.  Hope you enjoy it and I  also hope to be able to post new projects this week.

Quilled Hugs,
Linda K.
