Get Well Wishes Scented Card

Good Evening everyone! I hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend.  I just wanted to say that I am proud of my two Marine siblings, my youngest brother and sister.  Thank you for serving and protecting our country.  I love you guys!  Well today's project is a Get Well Wishes Scented Card I made for Emma's mom who had surgery this week.  Emma inspired me to start my own blog and you can visit her creative blog at http://www.creativetimeforme.com/.  The wheel barrel was cut from Walk in My Garden Cart, the grass from the Straight from the Nest Cart, Quilled Creations 1/8" quilled paper, grass scent from "Scent my Cards" www.scentmycards.com.
Yes this card is scented!!! I used the Mowed Grass Scent from "Scent my Cards website.  Check them out, they have an array of fragances for your projects.  If you have not yet tried to scent your cards you should give it a try!  I will be mailing this card to Emma's mom and I hope she gets well soon!  Thank you for stopping by and enjoy!

Happy Quilling,

Crazy 4 Challenges- C4C39

Good morning everyone.  Here's a project I submitted for the Crazy 4 Challenges blog.  The challenge was to make a tent card following the instructions on the Just Magnolia Blog.  I have to say I had an awesome time making a tent card.  I've never done one before.  As you can see I incorporated my Quilling in the project.  I cut the card from the Stretch Your Imagination Cricut Cart.  I used my Gypsy and the new Hide Feature to hide the design on the window card.  Then I just put a square on the card so that when it cuts there is a simple square.  I also cut the frame from the same cart.  The Quilling was made with 3/8" wide quilling paper from Quilled Creations. the cardstock I used was So Saffron from Stampin Up and the designed paper from Lasting Impressions.  Thanks for stopping by!

Back from Vacation!!

Hello everyone! I am really sorry for not posting anything in the last week but I was on vacation with my family and did not have access to the Internet.  We went to San Diego CA.  We had such a great time there.  We visited Disney, Sea World, Lego Land, Old Town, we went on a Dinner Cruise, S. Diego Zoo, just to name a few places.  I actually had so many ideas for projects and hope to share them with you soon.  Have a happy and safe Memorial Day Weekend.  See you soon.

How To Videos

Hello again! Ok so I am getting anxious to start posting videos of the projects I do.  I need your help though.  For those of you who are followers and subscribers please leave me a comment on What you would like to see on a video? That way it would help me get ideas and be able to please everyone on what they are interested in learning.  Thank you so much for your help.  Looking forward to your comments.

I would also like to share with you 3 more framed pieces I did  a few years ago and one of these was published in a Quilling Magazine.  Guess which one?

Jungle Animals

Hello Everyone!  Today I am going to share with you a framed Quilling piece I made for my friend's baby shower, actually this would be the 2nd one I make for the same occassion.  The leaves and trees were cut from the Zoobaloo Cricut Cart.  the animals are made using 1/8 in.  Quilling strips and the shadowbox frame is from Martha Stewart.  As you can see I love to cut with the Cricut and embellish my cutouts with Quilling.  I am fairly new at blogging but my friends have already asked me to film videos showing how I do Quilling.  It really sounds like a great idea and hopefully will attempt to post one soon.  Please feel free to email me with any questions you might have and please comments are always welcome.  Enjoy!
