Hello Everyone and Welcome to my Blog, and the New Year’s Thank You Card Blog Hop! If you've come from visiting Deb-DD's Crafts, you're in the right place. If you were just looking at my blog and want to play along with our blog hopping fun, you can go to the beginning at www.craftycardgallery.blogspot.com.  This blog hop is intended to help you get ideas for  Thank You Cards.    There will be opportunities to win some blog candy or get ideas to help you with your New Year’s Resolutions!  So sit back, and enjoy the hop!
I have started preparing for my 10 month old's  First Birthday  which is in February...wow how time flies!  and I came up with these Thank You cards based on the Birthday invite I am still working on. I have always love the monkey on the New Arrival Cricut Cart.  so I decide to use it for the invites and thank you cards.

CARD # 1

This card is a Gatefold Card. Length of card stock 5.25 X 8.5 scored at 2-1/8 and 6-3/8. Cute Monkey from Cricut New Arrival cut at 3".  For the Monkey's face I used the Peachy Keen - Baby Animal Faces and More stamp.  Colored the eyes with the white gel pen- also from PK.  Popped it up with Stampin Up Pop dots.  The Circle was cut with the EK Success 1 inch Punch.  Sizzix Sizzlits Ornate Label #5 in Yellow paper from Lasting Impressions.  Quilling- Bananas-2  12 in. Marquis in Yellow.  For the ends of the Banana, 4 3in. hearts in Brown.  For the Leaves- 2 4in. Marquis in Green.  All Quilling strips are 1/8 in.  Sentiment "Thank You Kindly" Stampin Up!
FOR BASIC QUILLING TUTORIAL CLICK HERE

CARD #2
This is the Second Thank You card.  I used the same materials as the first one with the difference that this card is folded in Half.  Card dimensions are 4-1/4 X5-1/2.  The Sentiment is different, but also from the Thank You Kindly Stampin Up set.

 THE INVITATION
This is the Invite in the works.  It will be a Peek-a-Boo card.  Also used the monkey from New Arrival.  This card  has a tab that when its moved to the left the monkey appears in the window.  If the tab is moved to the left the monkey hides.

"It's a Small World" Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Kinderstampo "It's a Small World" Blog Hop...If you just came from Mariam's Blog you are in the right track... if not you can begin HERE at Kinderstampo.

My Project for this Hop is a Punch Recipe Book.  I was born in Guatemala, a small Central American country right underneath Mexico.  A traditional Xmas drink is called Punch.  It is made out of many dried fruits and spices and it's served hot.  I love it when it is chilled. I found out that there are several recipes to make this type of drink .  So I decided to make this Punch Recipe book to collect all the Punch recipes I can find and pass it along to any of my friends that would like to make this delicacy on X-mas time.
Used the Sizzix Original Album and Page Inserts Die.  The letters are Hero Arts stamps punched with a 1/2" circle punchGlued with dimensionalsCardstock from SEI Winter Song

The project in pieces

Stamped all the Insert Pages with the Stampin Up Jolly Bingo Bits Stamp Set and used the Tab Punch for the page tabs.

Used the I-Top Brad Maker to make these brads and embellished them with a Quilled Holly
