Welcome to My Vintage Valentine hosted by Jess at Kinderstampo...if you arrived from Sandra you are in the right track...if you happened to stop by perhaps you want to start from the beginning at Kinderstampo. (Jess I really hope you get better soon)

Wow what a challenge this Blog Hop was...I have NEVER done anything Vintage...phew...I really hope I nailed it if not please forgive me.  I created this 8X8 LO of my Mother-in-law as a child with her little sister.  My mother-in-law , Christa,  is the young lady on the right...aww I really miss her.  She lost her battle with Cancer on April 2008. She was my partner in crime for shopping...her and I paid many visits to Michael"s and a local craft store that went out of business The Rag Shop.   She bought me my first die cutting machine, the original Sizzix...so much fond memories of this Wonderful woman. I love you Mom!
Well here it is my attempt at Vintage...what do you think?
I used the  K & Co "Life's Journey" Stack, gems from Recollections, Martha Stewart Punch, My Creative Time "My Journaling" Stamp Set.  I made the Roses with 18" strips 3/8" wide quilling paper.  The cage is from the Cricut Serenade Cart, cut at 4".

I made these Roses with 3/8" width strips of Quilling Paper
