"With Sympathy" Quilled Card

Happy Monday to you all!
I hope you had a fun and relaxing weekend.  I sure did with my family.
Today's project is a Sympathy card I made for a friend.  Her mother passed away and I know her mom liked flowers.  She always kept her garden nice and pretty.

Here I used a technique were you glue two strips of different colors together so that your quilled shapes have two tones.  You decide which two colors to combine, glue them together and roll...

...and this is what the Quilled pieces look like afterwards:

Hope you enjoy this short tutorial.  I will see you next time with more

Until then Quilly Hugs,

Peachy Keen Stamps Guest Designer Week 31- Day 5

Happy Friday and welcome to my last day as a Guest Designer for a Week over at PKS.  I had a blast creating  with their products this week, and would like to thank each and everyone of you for your very sweet and encouraging comments left here and also at PKS Blog.  Thank you once again to PKS for this opportunity.  Here's what I created for the "Let's Face it Friday Challenge" using the PKS Tear Bear Die.   I used brads for the arms so that they could be movable.  The card is a 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 cut lengthwise.  Hope you enjoy it and don't forget the Blog Candy sponsored by PKS.
