'Quilling It Thursdays' - Episode 3 -Quilled Holly Leaves

Hello my Quilly and non-Quilly Friends!  My apologies for being a week behind on my 'Quilling it Thursdays'. I've been having some health related problems.  Then my father had surgery and now my children are sick with the flu.  I have really been out of my old self, but I could not let you guys wait another week to link up your wonderful projects.  Remember that next week will be my first drawing.  Every 4th episode I will be drawing a winner and the prize will be a pack of My Quilling Nest's BoxEnvelopes.  Ok so for my project today I made a Christmas card and Quilled Holly Leaves as my embellishment.  Your challenge for this week is to make a project that includes a Quilled Holly Leave/s as part of your creation.   Here's mine:

 Materials:
Stampin' Up Designer Paper
Joy phrase- Sizzix Sizzlits
Quilling- 1/8" brown and red quilling paper
Sakura Gelly Roll Clear Stardust Pen
(I love the look that these pens give my projects, it might look dusty but in real life there is a glimmer to the design)

Thank you and see you again next week for another Episode of Quilling it Thursdays

Quilled Hugs,
Linda K.

Quilling It Thursdays-Episode 2

Hello everyone and my apologies for posting so late today. I have so many things going on its not even funny. From my dad being hospitalized to me having a cold...phew...but here I am with our second week of "Quilling it Thursdays". If you did not participate last week you can definitely do so  this week. My project for today is using Paper Roses. I learned how to make these a few years ago when I attended my first North American Quilling Guild Convention in Connecticut. There was a girl there that was making them using a toothpick and I was amazed. I have never tried making these with a toothpick instead I use a slotted tool. If you don't own a slotted quilling tool  I have them for sale HERE on my store. I will be posting a video tutorial shortly. In the meantime here are some pics of my project.

Spellbinders
Stampin Up Cardstock
Martha Stewart Rose Leaf Punch
For today's challenge share with us a project you have made using "Paper Roses"
Remember that I will be withdrawing a winner every 4th thursday.  Make sure to link your project and leave a comment after you have done so. Can't wait to see what you create!
