My Creative Time Throwback Thursday Challenge Episode 46 -My Gypsy Charm

Happy greetings to everyone.  Today I noticed that I have 20 followers, yay!! Bit by bit we're growing.  Thank you.
Today's project is for the "Throwback Thursdays" over at My Creative Time with Emma.  Her challenge for this week is to create a project with animals.  She used the Animal Kingdom cart to make her project and encouraged anyone that has this cart to make their project using this cart.  But whoever doesn't own it can use any other cart and make the animal theme project.

Ok so I made a Charm to hang from my Gypsy or Stylus. I will be hanging it from my Gypsy. I chose a Hippo and an Elephant because my girls' favorite stuffed animals are Hippo and Lalee as they call them.  I also cut my initials to kind of label my Gypsy. And of course I had to make a quilled flower to put on my project.

MATERIALS:
Create a Critter- Hippo- cut at 1.5- 4X- 2X with solid cardstock and 2X with Patterned paper.
New Arrival- Elephant- cut at 1.5- 4X- 2X with soli cardstock and 2X with Patterned paper
Storybook- Letters L & K (my initials) cut at 1 inch same procedure as the hippo and elephant.  The reason I cut it 4 times was to make each charm sturdy.  I didn't have chipboard or else it woud've been easier only 2 cuts (chipboard and patterned paper)
Cellphone Straps - from Beadalon- bought at Michaels
Jump rings for jewelry- form Darice
Jewels from Me and My big Ideas
Eyelets and Cropadile
Last but not least quilling paper from Quilled Creations for the Hippo's flower.

Thank you for stopping by and remember Comments are always welcome!

Just a little Thank You!

I just wanted to thank everyone for becoming my follower here on my blog.  Also for all your beautiful comments!  I'ts nice to see how people really appreciate what I do.  If I have not posted very often it's because on tuesday I returned to my full time job after being home for 4 months on Maternity Leave.  At the moment I am working on a Spanish Quilling Magazine that I submit projects to.  This time we are working on a bilingual one, this will actually be the 2nd one in English/Spanish and I do most of the translation.  I am also working in projects for a potential publication in another craft magazine. I've also been  working on a few projects that I would like to film, as I said in another post I've been asked to film videos, but when you are new at this it's sometimes difficult to figure it all out so please bear with me.  Once again thank you for your support and hope to keep posting more projects and also teach anyone that is interested in learning this lovely art of Paper Quilling.
Keep on Crafting and Quilling too!!
Lots of Quilled Hugs,
Linda K.
