My Creative Time DT Thursday Project

Happy Thursday Everyone!  Thank you for joining in. Here's a tutorial on how to make Fringed Flowers.  As a Design Member of My Creative Time's  stamps I used the Sentiment from "Mom You Rock" Stamp set.  The Tag was cut with the Sizzix Bigz Tag using chipboard.  I covered the tag with design paper from Michael's using Modge Podge.  The Ribbon is also from Michaels and the Ribbon Tag is from Shapeabilities from Spellbinders.  The word Punch is from Stampin Up and the jewels from Imaginisce I-Rock.  I hope you enjoy the tutorial I put together for you.  Pardon my poor editing but as I always say..."Practice Makes Perfect"...I am still giving baby steps in this whole new world of video tutorials and hope to get better with time.

Thank you for stopping by, I'll see you next time!

Hello Everyone! Wow amazing how this week is coming to an end...we are almost near the weekend again, fun isn't it?  Today I made this card thinking about my mom and how she is also my best friend.  I truly love every single one of Emma's Stamp Sets, and I am so grateful to be designing with them.  Here's a card I came up with using the "Mom You Rock" Stamp set.  Let me know what you think :).

"My Mom My Best Friend"

How I made it:
Using my Cuttlebug I die cut the Sizzix Sizzlit Ornate Label #5 Die in the middle of the 5 1/2 X 4 1/4 card.  Quilled a Flower with 8-8"teardrops with Cadet Blue 1/8" strips of Quilling paper from LakeCity Crafts. For the Center of the Flower I rolled a Tight cirlce using 1/8" strip of Orange paper 24"long.  Used the Stampin Up Lace punch and Irock gems.  Sentiment from My Creative Time "Mom You Rock" Stamp Set.  Paper is from DCW Cotton Bloom Stack.
